Demolition Permit Application This application is to be used for the proposed demolition of an existing structure of which also includes mobile homes and commercial buildings.  Submit the completed application, supporting documentation, and the permit fee to Washington Township.  The demolition of a commercial building will also require obtaining a certificate from DEP.  Contact DEP at 717.705.4702.  A demolition permit will not be issued to a commercial structure until the certificate is issued by DEP.

Request For Sign Approval  This application is to be submitted for the installation of an electronic sign or a sign larger than 50 square feet.  The application to be reviewed by the Board of Supervisors. There is no fee associated with this application.

Roadway Cut / Use of Right-of-Way Application This application is used for a road-cut or use of right-of-way proposed within the township road right-of-way.  Submit the completed application, supporting documentation and permit fee to Washington Township.

Swimming Pool Permit Application This application is submitted for the installation of an above or in ground swimming pool.  A zoning permit application needs to accompany the swimming pool permit application.  Submit the completed application, supporting documentation and the permit fee to Washington Township.  For pools containing water over 24 inches in depth, a building permit application will also need to be submitted.

Transient Retail Business Registration Washington Township Ordinance Chapter 13, Part 2 mandates all persons engaging in peddling, soliciting or taking orders, either by sample or otherwise, for any goods, wares or merchandise upon any street, alley, sidewalk or public ground, or from house to house or soliciting or taking orders for any goods, wares or merchandise from a fixed location, on a temporary basis, which shall include, but not be limited to, such activities conducted at the time of special occasions or celebrations, for seasonal purposes or for yearly holidays within Washington Township.  An application is to be filed with the township.
